Who are Mentor Teachers?
Eighth grade mentors will begin their training on Tuesday, June 14. Again, we will be training 16 teachers in the 2005-2006 school year. For the past two years, sixteen sixth grade teachers and sixteen seventh grade teachers were chosen to receive eight days of intensive instruction from an Apple Professional Trainer. This training is not intended to make technicians out of the teachers --but rather educators that could better develop projects that integrate technology into the curriculum. These teachers in turn are resources for their colleagues at their school.
