Access PA Power Library
The POWER Library is a service of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania State Library, the Bethlehem Area Public Library and the BASD school libraries. The POWER Library gives access to thousands of full-text articles, a major encyclopedia, plus photographs, pictures, charts, maps, reference materials for all ages.
United Streaming
Teachers may gain access to this wealth of instructional streaming videos by entering the site by using their CPE tracker login. Teachers new to the district starting in the 2004-2005 school year need to obtain instructions from their curriculum supervisor on creatinan account.
Digital Curriculum
From AIMS Multimedia, Digital Curriculum is a curriculum video-on-demand teaching and learning system that fully integrates full-length educational videos, key concept video clips, still images, Encyclopaedia Britannica content, teacher guides, lesson plans, and interactive online assessments and assignments into a comprehensive learning tool for teachers, students, and administrators with complete record-keeping and an internal messaging service. Teachers may see a curriculum supervisor for Bethlehem's code.

Marco Polo
Marco Polo: Internet Content for the Classroom is a nonprofit consortium of premier national and international education organizations and the MCI Foundation dedicated to providing the highest quality Internet content and professional development to teachers and students throughout the United States. Through the Marco Polo homepage, one is able to access seven content web sites with lessons, student interactive content, and more! Some of the featured websites include: The Kennedy Center ArtsEdge, readwritethink (NCTE), Illuminations (NCTM), Xpeditions (National Geographic), EconEdLink (NCEE), and Science NetLinks (AAAS).
National Library of Virtual Manipulatives
Supported by the National Science Foundation, Utah State University's website features a library of mathematical manipulatives and interactive learning tools at elementary and middle school levels. It makes use of Java applets.
Annenberg CPB Channel
The Annenberg CPB Channel is a free satellite channel for schools, colleges, libraries, public broadcasting stations, public access channels, and other community agencies. It is presented 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, and airs an extraordinary range of teacher professional development and instructional programs funded by Annenberg/CPB. It is also offered as streaming video. Please remember to minimize the usage of streaming video during the instructional day.
