13. Instructional Meet and Discuss Agreement
INFORMATION:
The current agreement with the Instructional Meet and Discuss Group expires June 30, 2004.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Board of School Directors approves the listed modifications to the Instructional Meet and Discuss agreement.
1. The agreement will be for three years, from July 1, 2004, to June 30, 2007.
2. The base salary
schedule will be increased by using the following high school
principals' maximum salaries:
a. July 1, 2004 to June 30, 2005 - $ 98,794
b. July 1, 2005 to June 30, 2006 - 101,448
c. July 1, 2006 to June 30, 2007 - 104,293
3. The percentage
value of Category 4 will be increased by .5 percent effective July 1,
2004.
4. In the second
and third year (2005 and 2007), the agreement will be modified, if
necessary, to ensure that all administrators in Categories
1-4 make no less than a
teacher at M+15 maximum step.
5. An enhanced tax
sheltered annuity (TSA) program for all severance/retirement
benefits which are cash accrued will be established. Payments
will be made to a TSA
of the employe's choice. The final terms and conditions of
the enhanced TSA will be
completed after approval by a majority of the Association
of Bethlehem School
Administrators.
The administration's recommendations 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30 were considered together.
