2.      Authorization to Expend 2001 Bond Funds- New Northeast Middle

School- Additional Exterior Security Cameras- Change Order

 

 

INFORMATION:

 

In order to improve security at the new Northeast Middle School, the administration investigated adding more cameras to provide coverage of the exterior site and building. The cameras would be tied into the interior monitoring and recording system. The costs for this change order are within the project contingency.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

That the Board of School Directors approves a change order to Philips Brothers Electrical to furnish and install six additional pan/tilt/zoom exterior security cameras at the new Northeast Middle School for a cost not to exceed $58,100.
