3. Final Adoption of the 2003-2004 Bethlehem Area School District Budget
RECOMMENDATION:
That the following Resolution to adopt the 2003-2004 Bethlehem Area School District Budget be approved as presented.
Mr. Majewski stated that the tentative adoption that was approved on May 19 including the following: - The total budget was $139,076,955. - The amount of the millage required to fund the budget was 33.68 mills. ROLL CALL RECOMMENDATION 3 Director Gallagher moved the administration's recommendation 3. Director Venanzi seconded the motion. The question was called and roll call was as follows: Yea, Directors Gallagher, Haytmanek, Heske, Koch, Leeson, Venanzi, Williams, and Amato - 8. Director Leeson stated that the board asked the administration to keep the budget between zero to a three percent increase. She thinks, in the current economic times, the administration did an admirable job in bringing a budget increase of a little over three percent. Motion passed 8 - 0.
