8.      Authorization to Expend 2001 Bond Funds - Proposals Received

         February 26, 2003 - Testing-Adjusting, Balancing, Commissioning of

         HVAC Systems, and Automatic Temperature Control Systems - Northeast

         Middle School

 

 

INFORMATION:

 

Proposals were received on Wednesday, February 26, 2003, for:

 

            Testing-Adjusting, Balancing, Commissioning of HVAC Systems,

            and Automatic Temperature Control Systems - Northeast Middle

            School

 

The proposals have been reviewed by the appropriate administrative and supervisory personnel.

 

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

That the administration be authorized to award a contract for Testing-Adjusting, Balancing, Commissioning of HVAC Systems, and Automatic Temperature Control Systems - Northeast Middle School based on time and expense basis for a cost not to exceed $93,731 to:

 

            Flood & Sterling Inc.

            924 North Second Street

            Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17102

 

The administration's recommendations 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 30, 31, and 32 were considered together.
