22.     LERTA Tax Abatement Program

 

 

INFORMATION:

 

The Bethlehem Area School District has been participating with the City of Bethlehem and the Counties of Lehigh and Northampton in the LERTA Tax Abatement Program. This program had an expiration date of December 31, 2002.

 

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

That the Board of School Directors approve the continued participation in the LERTA Tax Abatement Program in the City of Bethlehem until December 31, 2004.
