7.        Authorization to Add Administrative Positions

 

 

INFORMATION:

 

The Proposed Reorganization of the Administrative Infrastructure presented at the January 13, 2003, Board Human Resources Committee Meeting includes an emphasis on curriculum and instruction. The proposal includes two new positions to oversee English language arts and mathematics.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

That the administration be authorized to add, effective July 1, 2003, an English language arts supervisor, K-12 position and a mathematics supervisor, K-12 position. The positions will be part of the Instructional Meet and Discuss employe group, and will be included as part of Category 4.
