RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE ADMINISTRATION - April 29, 2002
INFORMATION:
During the 2001-2002 school year, the admittance fee for football, basketball, and wrestling events was $2 for students, $3 for adults, and no charge for senior citizens.
The Family Ticket Program has been in effect for the past 21 years. This concept was developed to enable families with school-aged children to attend athletic events at a reduced rate. During the 2001-2002 school year, the Family Ticket entitled the purchaser to attend both Freedom and Liberty High Schools' home athletic events. A Student Season Pass was made available in 1989 which entitles a student to attend all Freedom and Liberty High Schools' home football, basketball, and/or wrestling contests.
RECOMMENDATION:
a. That the administration be authorized to approve the following admittance fees for football, basketball, and wrestling events for the 2002-2003 school year as follows: *
Students - $ 2.00
Adults - 3.00
Senior Citizens - No Charge
b. That the administration be authorized to approve the Family Ticket Program and Student Season Pass for the 2002-2003 school year as follows: *
Student Wrestling Pass - 6.00
Student Basketball Pass - 10.00
Student All-Sports Pass - 15.00
Family Football Ticket - 25.00
Family Basketball Ticket - 25.00
Family Wrestling Ticket - 25.00
Family All-Sports Ticket - 40.00
*Ticket prices are remaining the same as the 2001-2002 school year.
The administration's recommendations 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, and 32 were considered together.
