RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE ADMINISTRATION - April 29, 2002
INFORMATION:
At the January 7, 2002, Board Meeting, contracts were awarded to Albarell Electric, Incorporated, and Cope Carpet for miscellaneous work at the Rosemont building. The district's technology department has confirmed that the academy and SPARK programs at the Rosemont building will require additional computer network and phone system installations. The contractor, Albarell Electric, Incorporated, has proposed to do this work for a cost not to exceed $10,000.
In addition, after removal of the existing floors, it has been determined that additional floor repairs are required prior to the installation of the new flooring. The contractor, Cope Carpet, has agreed to perform these repairs for a cost not to exceed $2,500.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Board of School Directors issue the following change orders for work at the Rosemont building:
a. To Albarell Electric, Incorporated, to install additional computer network and phone systems for a cost not to exceed $10,000.
b. To Cope Carpet for additional floor repairs for a cost not to exceed $2,500.
The administration's recommendations 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, and 32 were considered together.
