ROLL CALL RECOMMENDATIONS 18, 28, 32, and 35

Director Amato stated, being 60% through this year's budget, if anything showing
less than 40% unexpended indicates that it is overspent. Mr. Majewski stated
that it is not necessarily true. There are different cycles for certain costs.
He would have to respond for each individual area. For example, the photocopiers
category is generally fairly equal in what is spent per month, so it would be
reasonable to assume that Director Amato's interpretation is accurate. Director
Amato pointed out "Instructional Materials Reserve - Secondary" showing -6.33%
and having overspent almost $13,000. Mr. Majewski stated that is possible at
this time of the year. In that account would be textbooks that are ordered early
in the year for the year's needs. Director Amato questioned "Child Study Center"
where $63,500 was budgeted and $130,799 has been spent to date, asking if that
program is equal throughout the 10 months. Mr. Majewski replied that the Child
Study Center typically has costs spread throughout the year; however, he believes
there was a summer program charged to this area causing the program to be
front-end loaded. Director Amato asked where the $67,000 which was overspent
would come from. Mr. Agretto replied that there might be some federal funding
that might not be coded properly in that line item. There are general fund
budget moneys and IDEA funding. He is working with the business office now to
make sure that certain line items are budgeted properly under federal codes
rather than the general fund budget.

Director Venanzi moved the administration's recommendations 8, 28, 32, and 35.
Director Craig seconded the motion. The question was called and roll call was as
follows: Yea, Directors Heske, Koch, Leeson - except no for item 32, Venanzi,
Williams, Amato, Craig, Gallagher, and Haytmanek.

Items 18, 28, and 35 passed 9 - 0.

Item 32 passed 8 - 1.
