Minutes

The administration's recommendations 18, 28, 32, and 35 were considered together.

Director Leeson asked for an explanation of this program and our participation
level. Mr. Majewski responded that a number of organizations offer programs
during the summer for children who are generally eligible for free and reduced
price lunches. The district provides meals to those programs. It is part of the
USDA Summer Food Service Program. The district will bill the USDA for
reimbursement of those costs. The program has been run in our district for quite
a number of years. With rare exceptions, it is at no cost to the school
district.
