6.      Authorization to Expend 2001 Bond Funds - Rosemont Building

Miscellaneous Improvements - Interior Painting and Window

Treatments - Multipurpose Room

 

 

INFORMATION:

 

The Board of School Directors approved miscellaneous improvements at the Rosemont building. As part of this project, the administration has solicited quotes for interior painting and window treatments for the multipurpose room.

 

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

That the Board of School Directors award the following contracts for work associated with the multipurpose room at Rosemont:

 

a. Interior painting - Goeppert Painting Contractor, 1177 Arcadia Street, Bethlehem,

Pennsylvania, at a cost not to exceed $3,850

 

Additional quotes:

            Hahalis Painting          -           $3,980

            Paragon Painting         -           No Response

 

b. Window treatments - A-Z Venetian Blind Company, 1101 East Fourth Street,

Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, at a cost not to exceed $1,150

 

Additional quotes:

            K & H Windows         -           $1,160

 

 

The administration's recommendations 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13,
14, 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31, 33, and 34 were
considered together.
