4.      Authorization to Expend 1998 Bond Funds -256 East Fairview Street,

Bethlehem, Demolition Project - Asbestos Testing

 

 

INFORMATION:

 

As part of the Capital Improvement Plan, the board approved the demolition of the recently acquired property at 256 East Fairview Street, Bethlehem, adjacent to the maintenance building. Prior to going out for bids, asbestos testing is required. AWTEC has agreed to do this testing for a cost not to exceed $850.

 

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

That the Board of School Directors approve a contract to AWTEC for asbestos testing at 256 East Fairview Street, Bethlehem, prior to its demolition, for a cost not to exceed $850.
