3.      Air Quality Testing - District Buildings

 

 

INFORMATION:

 

The Bethlehem Area School District performed air quality testing in district buildings in March of 2000. The administration is recommending that air quality testing be performed at least every two years in all district buildings housing students and the Education Center. Proposals were obtained for this work to be performed in April and May of 2002.

                       

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

That the Board of School Directors award a contract to 1 Source Safety & Health Inc., 140 South Village Avenue, Suite 130, Exton, Pennsylvania, to perform air quality testing in all district buildings housing students and the Education Center, at a cost not to exceed $52,970.
