7. Telephone/Written Quotations for the $4,000 - $10,000 Cost

INFORMATION:
The Bethlehem Area School District Board of School Directors on November 19, 2001, authorized the administration to contract with M. Cramer & Associates to repair the Broughal Middle School stage rigging at a cost of $4,798. The repairs were for a dead-hung scenery batten. It has been determined that the school would be better served with a scenery batten that is movable via a hand winch. The repairs with a movable batten will cost an additional $3,955 for a total repair cost of $8,593.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Board of School Directors approve a change order for Broughal Middle School stage rigging repairs in the amount of $3,955 with M. Cramer & Associates.
