2.      Authorization to Expend 1998 Bond Funds - Rosemont Building Asbestos

Removal Project - Change Order

 

 

INFORMATION:

 

            At the January 28, 2002, Board Meeting, a $9,570 contract was awarded to ACM Associates, Incorporated, for the removal of asbestos at the Rosemont building. During demolition, it was discovered that additional asbestos removal will be required to complete the project. The contractor has agreed to do this additional work for a cost not to exceed $12,000 or a total project cost of $21,570.

 

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

That the Board of School Directors approve a change order to ACM Associates, Incorporated, for additional asbestos removal at the Rosemont Building Project for a cost not to exceed $12,000 or a total project cost of $21,570.
