11. Salary Increase - Early Childhood Program
INFORMATION:
The S.P.A.R.K. Preschool Program employs instructional assistants who provide valuable support to the teachers in our preschool classrooms and monitor our children while riding the school buses. The present rate of pay for the position of instructional assistant is $10.41 per hour, established January 1, 2001.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Board of School Directors establish the rate of pay for the position of instructional assistant at $10.72 per hour, effective January 1, 2002.
