RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE ADMINISTRATION – April 23, 2001

 

 

3.      Authorization to Expend Capital Reserve Funds - Purchase of Portable Classrooms and Lavatory Facility - Rosemont

 

 

INFORMATION:

 

            At the April 2, 2001, Board Facilities Committee Meeting, the administration discussed the feasibility of purchasing the seven portable classrooms and the portable lavatory currently located at the Rosemont facility. These units are currently being leased from the Resun Leasing Company through the end of July. With the delays of the Donegan Elementary School construction project and the future plans of the Rosemont facility, the administration is recommending that the district purchase these seven portable classrooms and one portable lavatory facility.

 

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

That the Board of School Directors authorize the purchase from Resun Leasing Company for seven portable classrooms at a cost not to exceed $106,909, and for one portable lavatory facility at a cost not to exceed $19,280.
