2.      Authorization to Expend 1998 Bond Funds – Marvine Elementary School Construction Project  – Change Order

 

 

INFORMATION:

 

            Permit fees were excluded from the contractors’ bids on the construction project at Marvine Elementary School.  It was determined to be more cost effective to reimburse contractors at cost for the permits.

 

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

That the Board of School Directors approve a change order to Eastern Construction Associates, Incorporated, for the cost of permit fees associated with the construction project at Marvine Elementary Schools as follows:

 

Mechanical                                                      -           $ 5,500

ATC Electric (Low Voltage)                           -                   50

ATC Electric (Telecommunication)                -                   40

Fuel Oil Tank (Bethlehem Fire Department) -                   50

Fuel Oil Tank (State Labor & Industry)         -                   75

Electrical (Tank Monitor)                               -                   32

   Total                                                            -           $ 5,747
