RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE ADMINISTRATION – April 23, 2001

 

 

1.      Authorization to Expend 1998 Bond Funds – Marvine Elementary School Construction Project  – Cable Installation - Board Ratification

 

 

INFORMATION:

 

            The RCN Cable Company supplied all materials and labor costs for the installation of television cables in our schools up until the completion of the Lincoln Elementary School.  The board was notified by the administration that RCN Cable Company will no longer provide this service at no cost to the district.  They are therefore submitting a cost of $9,986.86 for this service to be provided at Marvine Elementary School.

 

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

That the Board of School Directors ratify a contract to RCN Cable Company for the installation of television cables at Marvine Elementary School, at a cost not to exceed $9,986.86.
