The Bethlehem Area School District is
eligible to apply for funds from the United States Department of Education for
another group of 21st Century Community Learning Centers. The purpose of the
grant is to provide educational, recreational, and health programs for children
during after-school hours. Special emphasis must be given to help students meet
academic standards.
Currently, there are nine 21st Century
Community Learning Centers in the Bethlehem Area School District. All Title I
schools, with the exception of Clearview, have existing centers.
