RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE ADMINISTRATION – February 26, 2001

 

 

3.      Authorization to Expend 1998 Bond Funds – Liberty High School, Maintenance Building, and Spring Garden Elementary School Roof Replacement Projects – Change Order Deducts

 

 

INFORMATION:

 

The roof replacement projects at Liberty High School, Maintenance Building, and Spring Garden Elementary School are substantially complete.  The contractor, Warko Roofing Company, Incorporated, did not completely utilize the material allowances on the projects and has agreed to issue credits in the following amounts, for a total credit of $21,773.36:

 

            Liberty High School                            -           $  3,425.97

            Maintenance Building                         -               3,111.00

            Spring Garden Elementary School      -             15,236.39

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

That the Board of School Directors authorize change order deducts to Warko Roofing Company, Incorporated, for material allowances not completely utilized on the roof replacement projects at Liberty High School, Maintenance Building, and Spring Garden Elementary School, realizing the following credits for a total credit of $21,773.36:

 

            Liberty High School                            -           $  3,425.97

            Maintenance Building                         -               3,111.00

            Spring Garden Elementary School      -             15,236.39

 

The administration's recommendations 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14,
15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, and 25 were considered together.
