4.      Freemansburg Elementary School Remediation Project – Flooring Installation - Change Order

 

 

INFORMATION:

 

            During the mold remediation and reconstruction at Freemansburg Elementary School, the majority of the floors were replaced except for the corridor floors.  After further review of the condition of the corridor floors, the administration and district engineer are recommending they also be replaced.  The contractor, Cope Carpet Interiors, has agreed to do this work for a cost not to exceed $18,550.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

That the Board of School Directors authorize a change order to Cope Carpet Interiors for removing and replacing the corridor floors at Freemansburg Elementary School for a cost not to exceed $18,550.
