RECOMMENDATIONS
OF THE ADMINISTRATION – January 29, 2001
INFORMATION:
The Donegan Elementary
School Construction Project was initiated in June of 2000. Delays in the construction schedule
were realized due to the following:

the asbestos abatement
and demolition identified with the old school
·
extreme weather
conditions
·
site difficulties
affecting simultaneous phasing of construction
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Board of School
Directors authorize change orders to extend the contract completion date to
August 15, 2001, to the following contractors at the Donegan Elementary School
Construction Project:
General
Contractor - Skepton
Construction, Inc.
Electrical
Contractor - Medlar
Electric
HVAC
Contractor - Dual
Temp Company
Plumbing
Contractor - Perkiomen
Valley Plumbing & Heating
The administration's recommendations 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28 were considered together.
