  1. Summer Food Services for Children

INFORMATION:

The Summer Food Services for Children Program is sponsored by the United
States Department of Agriculture and Pennsylvania Department of Education. The
purpose of the program is to provide meals for needy children during the summer
months when the National School Lunch Program is not available.

The Bethlehem Area School District has been a sponsor for district programs.


RECOMMENDATION:

That the Bethlehem Area School District be authorized to enter into an agreement
with the United States Department of Agriculture and Pennsylvania Department of
Education for the Summer Food Services for Children Program.
