Applying for a Teaching or Administrative Position at Bethlehem Area School District

Thank you for your interest in the Bethlehem Area School District. To apply for a position, candidates must submit their application online via PA-Educator.net. PA-Educator.net is a clearinghouse of applicants wishing to teach in the Commonwealth of Pennsyslvania.

The Bethlehem Area School District does not accept hard copy applications or materials.

Application materials must be received on PA-Educator.net with applicants selecting the corresponding PA-Educator Job ID Number before the posted deadline to be eligible for posted positions.

3. A complete transcript of your academic achievement
4. Current Act 34 Clearance (Report of Criminal History Record - Apply Online)
5. Current Act 151 Child Abuse History Clearance
6. Current Act 114 (Federal Criminal History - Apply Online)
7. Three letters of reference
8. Praxis scores
9. Post recommendation drug testing

Please note that if you are selected for an interview for a contracted position you will be required to submit all original documents and a current health record which includes a physical and TB test confirmation within the previous 12 months from your hire date.

3. Follow the instructions for the two-step application process
1. Complete the online application including the text fields for the Letter of Interest, Resume, and the required essay
2. Mail a complete set of credentials to PA-Educator.net which includes:
   a. Copy of Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
   b. Copy of Criminal History Background Check (Act 34)
   c. Copy of PA Professional Certificate
   d. Three to six letters of recommendation
   e. Unofficial transcripts
   f. Praxis test results
